1. I took Tae Kwon Do for about five years, and got as high as a red belt with black tips, which is basically a level below a black belt. People are actually scared of me, despite the fact that I haven’t been to a class in eight years.

2. I’ve been writing NC-17 fic since I was 15.

3. My first fandom was Xena: Warrior Princess, and my first pairing was Joxer/Gabrielle. My first slash pairing was Joxer/Autolycus.

4. I like Classic Who a lot better than New Who because Classic Who makes me feel like I could create a TV series that was compelling on a shoestring budget.

5. My computer has been literally three steps away from my bed for about a year or so? This includes moving once.

6. I moved out of my mom’s house when I was 29, because I didn’t want to be living there when I was 30.

7. Before “The Hobbit”, the last fandom that I was in that I count as being especially successful for me from a writer’s standpoint is “The Dresden Files”.

8. I came up with the pairing name Knitted Axes, and no, I’m not apologizing.

9. I didn’t learn to drive until I was 24, and no, it’s not because I live in a metropolitan city where it’s possible to get all around town on buses that show up every ten minutes.

I’ve caught up with the main LBD series, but I haven’t seen Lydia’s videos — I really need to catch up with those, because while it’s good to see Lizzie’s side of the story, seeing Lydia in this version of P&P doesn’t feel as onerous as getting to know her in other versions would. Just from Gigi’s story alone, Wickham is shit. He needs to be eviscerated, and he needs to be stopped from preying on women who are vulnerable to his kind of “charm”. Unfortunately, being an asshole isn’t a crime, but if it were, I’d love to see him locked in a deep, dark dungeon, never to see the light of day again.

I’m actually still on the Thanksgiving episode (#66), because I keep getting distracted by other shiny things, but it’s a nice series so far. I was rather surprised at how Darcy looks, and he really is just that robotic, but it’s keeping with the character, so yay. So far, no ideas for fanfic have sprung to mind? (Thank God) But it’s a sweet little series. :D

I’m going to be out of pocket for the weekend due to filming an Avengers fan film in Atlanta. With any luck, I’ll be back around Sunday at 7pm EST so I have time to be brain-dead, and then watch Once Upon a Time.

I’m at Episode 41. So far, Lydia is an airhead (and I haven’t seen her spin-off), but I know that there’s going to be something happening later on that incurred feels in one of my tumblr-people? If it follows the novel like I think it will, George is going to end up messing with Lydia, or getting together with her? Or something?
